Progress on gutting the back bedroom

We are taking out the closet because it's not nearly deep enough to be useful. The entire ceiling is coming down so we can re-insulate as the current insulation is almost non-existant. The roof is surpringsly dry considering how wet this room was. Hopefully another day or two and this room will be gutted.

The kitchen is now almost gutted.

Also just poured our money into a new roof - I'm hoping this means no more rain collection inside the house!

Becoming a Homeowner

On April 26th John and I officially became homeowners! The initial view of the house was a bit grim, but in time it will be nice. See the house in all it's glory.
